Developed in partnership with the Mattagami First Nation, Flying Post First Nation, and the Métis Nation of Ontario Region 3, Côté Gold is a joint venture between IAMGOLD and Sumitomo Metal Mining Co. Ltd. Camp accommodations are available depend on the position, with some positions also including quality for travel perks. Open positions include:
- Travel and Transportation Administrator
Coordinates travel, flights, and accommodations for employees and contractors, ensuring efficient administrative support. - Autonomous Hardware and Radio Technician
Installs and maintains radio and autonomous systems for haul and drill fleets. - Cook (3-Month Contract)
Prepares meals and manages kitchen operations in a remote exploration camp on a 7/7 rotation. - Coordinator, Mill Operations
Oversees permitting systems and ensures safety and compliance within mill operations. - D65 Drill Operator
Operates drill equipment safely and efficiently to support mine production. - Drill Maintenance Technician
Maintains and repairs autonomous drill fleets including Pit Viper 231s and D65s. - Electrician
Performs electrical maintenance across mine and mill infrastructure. - Fuel and Lube Technician
Maintains fluid systems for heavy equipment, supporting preventive maintenance. - Heavy Duty Equipment Technician
Diagnoses and repairs heavy mobile mining equipment. - IT Technician
Provides technical support for hardware, software, and network systems on site. - Mill Operator (All Levels)
Operates and maintains processing plant equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency. - Millwright – Conveyor Technician
Installs and maintains mechanical systems and conveyors in mining and milling areas. - Mine Maintenance Planner
Schedules preventive and corrective maintenance for heavy equipment using Oracle eAM. - Scaffolder
Assembles and inspects scaffolding structures to support mill and construction work. - Welder – Mill Maintenance
Performs structural welding and metal fabrication for mill equipment and infrastructure.

Côté Gold Mine
Côté Gold Mine is a state-of-the-art open-pit gold mining operation located near Gogama in northeastern Ontario, Canada. Jointly owned by IAMGOLD Corporation (60.3%) and Sumitomo Metal Mining Co., Ltd. (39.7%), the mine achieved its first gold pour and commenced commercial production in 2024 . With an anticipated mine life of approximately 18 years, Côté Gold is poised to become one of Canada's largest gold producers. The mine boasts proven and probable reserves of 234.6 million tonnes grading 1.01 g/t gold, containing 7.6 million ounces of gold.
