Mine Maintenance Planner - Côté Gold Mine - General Work Rotation

IAMGOLD is hiring a Mine Maintenance Planner for its Côté Gold Mine near Gogama, Ontario. This key role supports the mobile maintenance program by planning, scheduling, and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities for the site's heavy mobile equipment. The planner will collaborate with execution teams, manage work packages using Oracle eAM, monitor KPIs, and support operational reliability through detailed planning and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities

The Maintenance Planner develops and executes detailed maintenance schedules for mine equipment.

  • Plan and release work orders and PCR packages using Oracle eAM.
  • Create long-term maintenance plans with parts and labor forecasting.
  • Coordinate shutdowns and permitting schedules with supervisors.
  • Update planning documents and analyze historical work data.
  • Optimize maintenance costs and participate in budget preparation.
  • Review KPIs and compliance, and address non-conformances.
  • Lead weekly maintenance scheduling meetings.
  • Coordinate with supply chain, operations, and other departments.

Requirements

Applicants should have strong technical and organizational experience in heavy equipment maintenance planning.

  • Diploma or degree in a maintenance-related field preferred.
  • Trade certification or equivalent experience in mobile maintenance.
  • 5+ years in a maintenance trade; 1+ year in planning/scheduling.
  • Proficiency in Oracle eAM or similar CMMS required.
  • Experience with CAT 6060, 16M, D10T equipment preferred.
  • Strong communication, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of local legislation, OH&S programs, and project tools.

Côté Gold Mine is a state-of-the-art open-pit gold mining operation located near Gogama in northeastern Ontario, Canada.
