Newmont is hiring for multiple positions at its Brucejack Gold Mine, a high-grade underground operation located approximately 65 km north of Stewart, British Columbia. All positions are fly-in/fly-out (FIFO), with transportation provided from various hubs across Western Canada. Camp accommodations include private rooms with ensuite washrooms, full meal service, and access to extensive recreational facilities. Rotational schedules include 13/13 or 2/2, depending on the role. These opportunities span skilled trades, mining operations, mechanical support, kitchen staff, and geology.

Open roles include:

  1. Shop Labourer
    Supports shop operations through cleaning, inventory handling, and transportation duties; $32.96/hr with 13/13 FIFO schedule.
  2. Light Duty Mechanic
    Performs diagnostics and repairs on light vehicles and equipment critical to site operations; $61.20/hr on a 2/2 rotation.
  3. Underground Heavy Duty Mechanic
    Maintains and repairs mobile underground equipment like haul trucks and drills; $64.32/hr with 13/13 rotation.
  4. Miner 2
    Executes underground tasks such as scaling, ground support, and equipment operation; $54.14/hr, FIFO with full camp.
  5. General Kitchen Helper
    Assists with food prep, cleaning, and service in camp dining areas; $27.66/hr, six-month term with 13/13 schedule.
  6. Exploration Geologist
    Supports drill core logging, geological modeling, and QA/QC for underground exploration; salary range $91,800–$110,000.
  7. Miner 1
    Leads underground mining operations including drilling, blasting, and scaling; $61.20/hr with FIFO accommodations.
