ATCO Frontec is hiring for a wide range of rotational camp jobs in Resolute Bay, Nunavut, including trades, mechanics, cooks, administrators, and support staff.

ATCO Frontec is currently hiring for multiple camp-based positions at its Resolute Bay Arctic Operations site in Nunavut. These rotational fly-in/fly-out roles offer full camp accommodations, paid travel, and competitive Arctic wages. The site supports infrastructure, facility maintenance, and hospitality for both public and private Arctic programs. Schedules are structured with either 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off or 8 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotations.

Open positions include:

  1. 1st Cook
    Prepare meals and oversee kitchen operations. Red Seal preferred. $26/hr, 4/4 rotation.
  2. 3rd Cook
    Prepare and serve meals in a team setting. Food Safe required. $22/hr, 4/4 rotation.
  3. Chef
    Lead kitchen operations, menu planning, and staff supervision.
  4. Heavy Duty Mechanic – Red Seal
    Maintain diesel equipment, graders, and excavators. $50/hr, 4/4 rotation.
  5. Heavy Duty Mechanic – 4th Year Apprentice
    Assist with repairs and maintenance of site equipment. $35+/hr, 8/4 rotation.
  6. Journeyman Electrician (Red Seal)
    Conduct maintenance and new installations. $37/hr, 8/4 rotation.
  7. Journeyman Carpenter (Red Seal)
    Handle rough and finish carpentry on site buildings. $36.40/hr, 4/4 rotation.
  8. Plumber / Oil Burner Mechanic (Dual Ticket)
    Maintain and repair plumbing and heating systems. $50/hr, 4/4 rotation.
  9. Site Administrator / Hotel Front Desk
    Provide hospitality and admin support. $26/hr, 4/4 rotation.

Work Rotation

4 weeks on / 4 weeks off and 8 weeks on / 4 weeks off
