Housekeeper - Resolute Bay Arctic Operations - Long Rotations - Camp
ATCO Frontec is hiring a full-time Housekeeper for its Resolute Bay hotel operations in Resolute Bay, Nunavut, supporting remote northern logistics and operational services in one of Canada’s most demanding Arctic environments. This on-site role follows a 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotational schedule and focuses on maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and linen services across lodging operations, including room turnaround, linens and towel processing, and general facility upkeep. The Resolute Bay team supports a range of northern initiatives, including logistics and maintenance services tied to the Polar Continental Shelf Program, Resolute Bay Weather Observation, and fuel operations for the hamlet and airport, with additional support to surrounding communities such as Eureka and Grise Fiord.

Responsibilities
The Housekeeper maintains safe, hygienic, and guest-ready accommodations in Resolute Bay by completing daily room cleaning, linen processing, and general housekeeping tasks to operational standards.
- Wash, dry, and fold linens and towels for hotel operations.
- Make beds, change sheets, and restock clean towels and toiletries.
- Clean floor surfaces, including waxing and polishing as required.
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain tidy areas.
- Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain facility cleanliness.
- Maintain overall cleanliness and hygienic conditions across assigned areas.
- Complete other housekeeping and site duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualified candidates will be organized, service-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a remote Arctic environment while meeting safety-sensitive screening requirements.
- Good organizational skills and strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ability to multitask and manage changing daily priorities.
- Excellent people skills with a customer service mindset.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently on shift.
- Ability to lift 25+ lbs.
- Valid Driver’s License (required).
- Remote camp environment experience (considered an asset).
- Ability to pass pre-employment alcohol and drug test.
- Ability to pass fit-to-work medical test.
- Ability to pass criminal record check.
- Final candidates must complete a Security Clearance Check.
