Front Desk Attendant - Resolute Bay Arctic Operations - 4x4 Fly-In / Fly-Out
ATCO Frontec is hiring Front Desk Attendants for its long-standing Resolute Bay operations in Nunavut, offering a 4-week on/4-week off fly-in fly-out schedule. The position supports logistics and administrative functions for key northern initiatives, including the Polar Continental Shelf Program and Resolute Bay Airport operations. Based in one of Canada’s most extreme climates, the role includes travel, camp accommodations, and a competitive wage with overtime opportunities. The Front Desk Attendant will manage guest services, coordinate logistics, and provide administrative support in a remote, fast-paced environment.

The Front Desk Attendant will handle administrative and guest service duties in a remote, northern camp environment. Responsibilities include:
- Managing front desk operations independently
- Handling guest reservations, check-ins/outs, and payments
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Coordinating truck and conference room bookings
- Managing catering and liaising with kitchen staff
- Arranging airport transportation and driving as needed
- Delivering high-quality customer service and resolving issues
- Maintaining both manual and computerized reports
- Arranging flights and accommodations per rotation schedules
- Providing administrative support to the site management team
Requirements
Candidates must have hospitality experience and strong administrative skills to work effectively in this remote camp role. Requirements include:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a hotel front desk or similar role
- Administrative training or equivalent relevant experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience in a multicultural, fast-paced work environment
- Ability to pass pre-employment alcohol and drug testing, medical, background, and security clearance checks
