ATCO Frontec is hiring for multiple skilled trades and maintenance positions at its Resolute Bay, NU site. These roles involve maintaining, repairing, and servicing heavy-duty vehicles, equipment, plumbing, heating systems, and building structures in a remote Arctic environment. Each position follows a structured rotation schedule with all travel expenses covered, along with camp accommodations and meals provided during work shifts.

Current job openings include:

  1. Heavy Duty Mechanic (4th Year Apprentice) – Repairs and services diesel-powered vehicles, trucks, and construction equipment.
  2. Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter – Constructs, repairs, and installs structural wood and steel work for building maintenance.
  3. Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic – Maintains and overhauls heavy-duty trucks, graders, and excavators in extreme conditions.
  4. Dual Ticket Red Seal Plumber & Oil Burner Mechanic – Installs and maintains plumbing, heating, and oil-burning systems.

These positions require technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in remote and extreme weather conditions.

Work Rotation

4 weeks on, 4 weeks off or 8 weeks on, 4 weeks off schedules.
