Agnico Eagle is hiring for multiple fly-in/fly-out underground mining job positions at the Meliadine Gold Mine, located approximately 25 kilometers north of Rankin Inlet, Nunavut, Canada. These positions operate on a 14 days on / 14 days off rotation and support underground construction, production, and equipment operation in a remote northern mining environment. Employees receive camp accommodations, onsite meals, charter flights to and from site, and additional travel support based on their place of residence in Canada.

Available Positions at Meliadine Gold Mine:

  1. Construction Miner
    Supports underground mine construction by installing paste line infrastructure, building and repairing underground structures, pouring concrete, completing rehabilitation work, and operating specialized underground construction equipment.
  2. Utility Miner
    Supports both underground construction and production crews by operating mining and construction equipment, assisting with concrete and form work, helping pipe and blasting crews, and delivering cement slurry for cemented rock fill operations.
  3. Underground Scoop Operator
    Supports underground production by operating 8-yard and 11-yard scoops, including remote and tele-remote equipment in production stopes, while completing inspections and maintaining safe working conditions underground.

These positions are part of Agnico Eagle’s operations at Meliadine, a significant northern Canadian gold mine with ongoing underground mining and development work.
