North American Construction Group (NACG) is ramping up hiring for multiple fly-in / fly-out (FIFO) job positions for oil sands mining projects in Fort McMurray, Alberta—offering top-tier hourly rates, weekly pay, camp accommodations with meals, flights from Edmonton/Calgary, bussing from Fort McMurray, paid premiums for nights, PPE support, and full benefits + pension after 400 hours for long-term, career-growth roles in a true production open-pit oil sands mining environment.

  1. Finish Excavator Operators (Fort Hills) — up to $54.86/hr — 14 on / 7 off: Perform precision excavation and grading using finish excavators, working confidently in muskeg, frost, and soft-ground conditions.
  2. Finish Dozer Operators (Fort Hills) — up to $54.86/hr — 14 on / 7 off: D3 to D8 sized Dozer for earthworks, roads, backfilling, open-pit mining.
  3. Haul Truck Operators (Fort Hills) — up to $49.67/hr — 14 on / 7 off: Operate 777, 785, 793 Articulated/Rigid Trucks (Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere, and Volvo) in a mining or heavy construction earthworks environment.
  4. Grader Operator (Fort Hills) — up to $54.86/hr — 14 on / 7 off: Operate articulating motor graders ranging in size from 16 to 24 ft blade in a mining or heavy construction earthworks environment to maintain roadways and loading & dump areas.
  5. Heavy Equipment Operators (Kearl) — Dozer (D9–D11) — up to $55.42/hr — 14 on / 14 off: Operate large production dozers (D9–D11) supporting mining shovel operations, grade placement, and mine earthworks.
  6. Heavy Equipment Operators (Kearl) — Excavator (870+) — up to $58.16/hr — 14 on / 14 off: Run 870+ class excavators for production digging, ditching, sloping, and grading while maintaining strict safety and inspection standards.
  7. Ground Workers (Kearl and Fort Hills) — up to $36.74/hr — 14 on / 14 off: Support site operations with steam cleaning equipment, snow removal, and operating various machinery including light vehicle in mine setting.
  8. Warehouse Receiver (Kearl) — up to $48.32/hr — 14 on / 14 off: General warehouse duties including organizing parts and supplies for the mine operations.

Work Rotation

14 days on / 14 days off & 14 days on / 7 days off
