Nasittuq Corporation is actively hiring for multiple remote camp-based positions at Canadian Forces Station (CFS) Alert, located on Ellesmere Island, Nunavut—the northernmost permanently inhabited place on Earth. These fly-in, fly-out roles operate on extended 8-week on / 8-week off schedules, offering private accommodations, meals, paid travel from anywhere in Canada, and additional Arctic premiums. Roles span logistics, mechanical trades, and health and safety operations in support of Department of National Defence infrastructure.

Open positions include:

  1. Maintenance Clerk
    Coordinates maintenance logistics, documentation, and material orders using DRMIS and FMS systems. $35.03–$36.88/hr.
  2. General Labourer
    Supports day-to-day maintenance and logistics under Arctic conditions. $27.57–$29.02/hr.
  3. Power Plant Mechanic
    Maintains and repairs Caterpillar diesel generators and power systems. $52.18–$54.92/hr.
  4. Heavy Duty Mechanic
    Red Seal-certified technician for maintenance of heavy vehicles and equipment. $53.53–$56.35/hr.
  5. HSE Coordinator
    Oversees health, safety, and environmental compliance for remote site operations. Rotation and pay depend on experience.
