Hecla Mining Company is actively hiring for multiple mining positions at the Keno Hill Silver Mine located in Elsa, Yukon Territory. These fly-in fly-out roles operate on 14 days on / 14 days off rotational schedules with full camp accommodations and meals provided. Travel is arranged from designated hubs across Yukon, British Columbia, and Alberta. All positions offer competitive pay rates and comprehensive benefits packages to support employees working in this remote northern operation.

  1. Mill Operator: Responsible for operating and monitoring mill circuits including Crushing, Grinding, Flotation, and Dewatering/Filtration. This position includes preventive maintenance, equipment operation, and safety-focused operations. Compensation ranges from $32.70 to $45.00 per hour.
  2. Project Manager: Oversees mine site infrastructure projects from planning through completion, including budgeting, scheduling, safety, and compliance management. Requires 10+ years of mining project management experience and PMP certification.
  3. Miner 2 (Bolter): Conducts underground ground support, blasting, and face preparation activities with a focus on safety and operational readiness. This role pays $36.50 per hour and requires 3-5 years of underground mining experience.
  4. Miner 1 (Jumbo Operator): Operates jumbo drills for development drilling, blasting, scaling, and ground support installation. The role pays $39.40 per hour and requires at least 3 years of jumbo operating experience.

Work Rotation

14 days on / 14 days off, 12-hour shifts, rotating days/nights
