Responsibilities
The Mill Operator will support critical mill operations with a focus on safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include:
- Operate circuits including Crushing, Grinding, Flotation, and Dewatering
- Monitor and optimize processing systems
- Conduct operational preventive maintenance and inspections
- Operate equipment such as loaders, bobcats, cranes, and excavators
- Promote a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and professionalism
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Mill Operations Supervisor
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following qualifications and pre-employment requirements:
- 3-5 years of mill operating experience
- Knowledge of jaw crushers, ball mills, flotation, and dewatering
- Experience with Ag/Pb and Zn mineral processing is an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and clean abstract
- Ability to work in a remote camp and operate safely
- Effective communication and ability to follow instructions
- Pre-employment drug, alcohol, blood lead, and audiogram testing
