Willow Creek Mine
Join a growing mining operation with diverse roles in extraction, operations, and maintenance.

Willow Creek Mine is a coal mining operation in northeastern British Columbia.
The Willow Creek Mine, located approximately 45 kilometers west of Chetwynd in northeastern British Columbia, is an open-pit operation producing hard coking coal and low-volatile pulverized coal injection (PCI) coal, both essential for steelmaking. Initially opened in 2005, the mine has experienced periods of activity and care and maintenance due to market fluctuations. In 2016, Conuma Resources Limited acquired the mine and resumed operations in June 2018. The mine continues to be a significant contributor to the local economy, providing employment opportunities and supporting regional development.
