A new opportunity has arisen for drivers and heavy equipment operators seeking remote mining jobs in Chetwynd, British Columbia. With competitive pay and living allowances, these positions offer flexible work rotations at the Wolverine and Willow Creek mines, owned by Conuma Resources.

This is a great opportunity for drivers and heavy equipment operations looking for a mining job opportunity with living out allowance and travel pay. You will be working either one week or two-week work rotations for a surface coal mine near Chetwynd, British Columbia.
Wolverine Mine and Willow Creek Mine are located close proximity to Chetwynd, BC. They are surface coal mining operations currently owned and carried out by Conuma Resources. Conuma also own Bruke Mine which is located between Chetwynd and Tumbler Ridge.
Conuma Resources is in the process of Construction of the Wolverine Hermann Mine Extension. Wolverine Mine's Perry Creek Operations are expected to run out of coal by end of 2023.
Drivers and heavy equipment operators are hired by GMS Corporation. They provide living out allowance to their mining workers along travel pay. You will also have access to the mine bussing system once you are there. These mining job positions are expected to last about 6 months but could be longer depend on the phase of project.
Class 1 Drivers
Minimum requirement to apply is Class 1 Divers License. Your pay will be depended on the experience. You will be working 6 days a week with 12 working hours in the night.
Pay $40-50/Hour
Heavy Equipment Operators
All applicants who have minimum of 2 years of work experience as a heavy equipment operator in the mining industry will gain consideration. Pay will be depend on the work experience.
You will be working either 7 days on 7 days off work rotation or 14 days on 14 days off work rotation.
Pay $37-41/Hour
