These mining jobs in BC offer competitive starting pay rates and comprehensive benefits, with work rotations scheduled on a weekly basis rotating days and nights. Conuma Resources is offering full-time permanent positions to qualified individuals interested in joining their team.

Conuma Resources is offering following entry-level mining job positions within its coal mining operations at the Brule, Willow Creek, and Wolverine Mines in British Columbia.

Entry-Level Opportunities:

  1. Haul Truck Trainees
  2. Steam Bay Attendants
  3. Labourers

These positions offer full-time permanent employment with 12-hour shifts on a rotational basis (7 days on/7 days off and 7 nights on/7 days off). Hourly pay ranges from $29.83 to $35.73, with benefits including paid vacation, RRSP matching, and extended health/dental care.

Hourly pay ranging from $38.86 to $43.22, depending on experience and qualifications.

  1. Environmental Technician:

Annual base salary range of $68,000.00 - $84,000.00, with additional bonuses based on safety and production targets.

  1. Water Treatment Technician:

Similar compensation and benefits as Environmental Technician.

  1. Environmental Coordinator:

Annual base salary range of $90,000.00 - $100,000.00, with various performance-based bonuses.

Comprehensive benefits package including paid vacation, RRSP matching, and employer-paid extended health and dental care.

  1. Heavy Duty Equipment Technician:

Brule, Willow Creek, and Wolverine Mines represent three significant mining operations situated in British Columbia and operated by Conuma Resources. These mines play a vital role in the extraction of coal, a crucial resource utilized across various industries such as power generation and steel production. Among the three, the Brule Mine stands out as the largest and is strategically located near the town of Tumbler Ridge. It caters to the production of both metallurgical coals, essential for steel production, and thermal coal, utilized in energy generation and exported globally.

Note that Conuma Resources does not provide remote camp accommodations for employees at the Brule, Willow Creek, and Wolverine Mines. However, transportation assistance is available for mine workers through bus services from various locations in British Columbia.

From Tumbler Ridge, Chetwynd, and Mackenzie, BC, bus transportation is accessible to reach the Wolverine Mine, Brule Mine, and Willow Creek Mine.

Additionally, routes from Chetwynd extend to the Brule Mine and Willow Creek Mine, while transportation from Dawson Creek is available exclusively to the Willow Creek Mine. Moreover, mine workers residing in Mackenzie have transportation options to reach the Willow Creek Mine.
