North American Construction Group (NACG) is hiring for multiple Heavy Equipment Operators and Labourers at the Kearl Oil Sands project near Fort McMurray, Alberta. These fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) union positions operate on a 14/14 rotation with full camp accommodations and flights provided from Edmonton or Calgary. Operators will work with large-scale open pit mining equipment in a unionized environment under IUOE Local 955, earning competitive wages and comprehensive benefits.
- Heavy Equipment Operator – Dozer (D9–D11) ($55.42/hour)
Operate D9 to D11 dozers to support shovel operations, perform grading, follow safety protocols, and conduct pre-shift inspections. - Heavy Equipment Operator – Excavator (870 or larger) ($58.16/hour)
Safely operate large excavators for grading, ditching, sloping, and production support in a open-pit mining environment. - Ground Worker – ($33.74/hour) (14 days on, 7 days off)
Steam cleaning heavy equipment, seasonal snow removal, transporting parts and other items using fork trucks and company vehicles. - Warehouse Receiver (Kearl) — up to $48.32/hr
General warehouse duties including organizing parts and supplies.
