In the first half of 2024, Firebag achieved back-to-back record production quarters, delivering 229,000 barrels per day in the first quarter and surpassing that with 234,000 barrels per day in the second quarter. These milestones underscore the facility's focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Bouchier provides a wide range of site services, including road maintenance and construction, earthworks and civil contracting, facility management and maintenance, snow removal, excavation, reclamation, and logistics, supporting resource development across northern Alberta. A large share of its workforce is Indigenous, and the company has built its operations around long-term partnerships with major oil sands producers while investing in the surrounding communities.
