The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for managing and maintaining tool inventory to support the operational reliability of the Côté Gold Mine maintenance team.
- Distribute and collect tools for employees and contractors.
- Inspect tools for damage and wear.
- Receive, rotate, and maintain tool inventory records.
- Order new tools as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tool crib.
- Ensure safe storage of hazardous materials per WHMIS.
- Prepare inventory counts as required.
- Commit to continuous learning and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Mentor and train new team members.
- Maintain accurate equipment and shift logs.
- Communicate deficiencies and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams.
Requirements
Candidates should have a minimum education of Grade 12 or equivalent, with organizational skills and safety knowledge relevant to mining environments.

- Prior tool management experience is an asset.

Côté Gold Mine is a state-of-the-art open-pit gold mining operation located near Gogama in northeastern Ontario, Canada.
