Service Technician - Seabee Gold Mine - 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off - FIFO
SSR Mining is hiring a Temporary Service Technician for its Seabee Gold Operation, a fly-in/fly-out remote gold mine located approximately 500 kilometers northeast of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This position operates on a 2-weeks-on, 2-weeks-off rotation with 12-hour shifts and includes camp accommodations and flights from Saskatoon, Prince Albert, or La Ronge. The Service Technician will perform lubrication, fueling, minor equipment repairs, and general servicing duties for underground mining equipment as part of the maintenance team.

Responsibilities
The Service Technician ensures timely fueling, lubrication, and minor servicing of underground mining equipment.
- Perform equipment fueling, lubrication, and filter changes
- Identify and report equipment issues or malfunctions
- Steam clean equipment and tighten hoses, clamps, lights, etc.
- Maintain and service own maintenance vehicle
- Respond to operator needs promptly during assigned shift
- Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisor
- Work day or night shifts as needed
Requirements
Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of OTR experience
- Service Technician experience required
- Underground experience is an asset
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and crouching for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong safety focus
