IAMGOLD is seeking an experienced Scaffolder to support construction, maintenance, and repair operations at the Côté Gold Mine near Gogama, Ontario. This role involves the safe erection and dismantling of scaffolding structures in compliance with industry safety standards. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, the Scaffolder plays a key role in ensuring stable, secure platforms for mill access. Camp accommodations are provided at the remote mine site.

Responsibilities
The Scaffolder ensures the safe assembly and disassembly of scaffold structures to support mill operations.
- Assemble and dismantle scaffolding structures for mill access.
- Ensure scaffolds are constructed to exact specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct safety inspections on scaffolding and report issues.
- Maintain and monitor the condition of scaffolding materials.
- Participate in troubleshooting and team-based problem solving.
- Mentor new team members and maintain shift documentation.
Requirements
Candidates should bring industrial scaffolding experience and strong safety awareness.
- Post-secondary education in a related trade.
- Scaffolding certification or trade qualification is an asset.
- 2-3 years of scaffolding experience in mining or industrial settings.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow job specs.
- Strong understanding of scaffold safety and materials.
- Problem-solving and teamwork skills required.

Côté Gold Mine is a state-of-the-art open-pit gold mining operation located near Gogama in northeastern Ontario, Canada.
