Maintenance Planner - Seabee Gold Mine - Fly In/Out - Two Week Rotations
SSR Mining Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Planner (Fixed Plant) for its Seabee Gold Operation, located approximately 500km northeast of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This underground gold mining facility offers a fly-in, fly-out work arrangement with camp accommodations. The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for developing and communicating maintenance schedules, ensuring equipment inspections are compliant, and optimizing workflow for maintenance operations. The role involves tracking materials, creating preventive maintenance plans, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. The work schedule follows a two-week-on, two-week-off rotation with flights provided from Saskatoon, Prince Albert, or La Ronge.

The Maintenance Planner will develop and oversee maintenance schedules and planning. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules.
- Analyze and interpret KPI trends and variances.
- Progress planning-type work notifications into work orders for scheduled maintenance.
- Conduct job walk-downs, risk evaluations, and develop task sequencing.
- Create and maintain preventive maintenance work packages.
- Track, procure, and stage materials for upcoming maintenance tasks.
- Interpret mid-to-long-term plans into actionable day-to-day schedules.
- Ensure departmental equipment inspections comply with company policies and government regulations.
- Recommend continuous improvements in maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Monitor and report on project progress and work schedules.
- Lead and participate in team meetings as required.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- A recognized qualification or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
- Red Seal Industrial Mechanic Certification (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a maintenance planner.
- Experience with CMMS software (SAP preferred).
- Strong understanding of both fixed and mobile mining equipment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Working knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, and project controls.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize short- and long-term planning.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
