Maintenance Planner - Meliadine Gold Mine - 14 Days On, 14 Days Off - FIFO
Agnico Eagle Mines is hiring an Energy and Infrastructure Maintenance Planner to join the Maintenance Department at the Meliadine Mine near Rankin Inlet, Nunavut. This fly-in fly-out role features a 14/14 rotational schedule with all accommodations and meals provided on site. Flights are arranged from various Canadian locations. The position plays a critical role in planning and scheduling preventative and corrective maintenance tasks, managing parts and inventory, and supporting maintenance best practices to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

The Maintenance Planner will coordinate planning and scheduling tasks to support infrastructure reliability:
- Develop and revise preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain to manage critical spare inventories.
- Create detailed job plans including resources, tools, and materials.
- Oversee material receiving and kitting operations.
- Update work order statuses in JD Edwards to maintain data accuracy.
- Develop detailed schedules to maximize safety and equipment uptime.
- Maintain maintenance records, equipment documentation, and planning workflows.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Planning Supervisor.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in mechanical or industrial fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the maintenance field.
- At least 2 years of experience using computerized maintenance systems.
- Experience in building or infrastructure maintenance is an asset.
- Mining industry experience is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with JD Edwards is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
