Lube Technician - Seabee Gold Mine - FIFO 2 Weeks with Camp
SSR Mining is currently hiring a Lube Technician for its Seabee Gold Operation, the only gold-producing facility in Saskatchewan, located approximately 500km northeast of Saskatoon. Operating on a 2-week fly-in/fly-out rotation with camp accommodations and flights from Saskatoon, Prince Albert, and La Ronge, this role is responsible for lubrication and fueling of underground mine equipment. As part of a diverse and inclusive team, the Lube Technician plays a key role in the maintenance program by ensuring equipment is clean, fueled, greased, and operating safely. Responsibilities
The Lube Technician ensures the safe and timely lubrication and servicing of all underground mine equipment at Seabee Gold Operation.
- Perform minor repairs to lubrication systems and equipment
- Identify and report unusual equipment malfunctions or noises
- Steam clean equipment, change filters, grease, and top up fluids
- Perform checks and tighten loose hoses, clamps, or lights
- Service maintenance vehicle regularly
- Work both night and day shifts as required
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor
Requirements
Candidates should be experienced in mobile service and equipment lubrication, ideally in underground mining environments.
- Minimum two (2) years' experience in off-the-road (OTR) servicing
- Experience as a Service Technician
- Underground mining experience is an asset
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Ability to work independently or within a team
- Good communication and attention to detail
- Proactive and safety-oriented mindset
