Nasittuq Corporation is hiring a Logistician for its North Warning System operations at remote radar sites in Cape Dyer, NU and Cape Parry, NT. These roles are part of a permanent, unionized 6x6 rotational schedule and involve supporting logistics and inventory activities critical to Canada-US aerospace defense infrastructure. The successful candidate will manage inventory, coordinate shipments including dangerous goods, support warehouse operations, and maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards. This fly-in/fly-out role includes paid travel, private accommodations, meals, northern living allowances, and a full suite of benefits and pension.

Responsibilities
The Logistician will oversee inventory control and support supply chain operations for critical radar site logistics in remote northern locations.
- Manage inventory control including issuing, receiving, and disposing of stock
- Handle and ship materials including dangerous goods (TDG)
- Coordinate personnel and goods transportation to radar sites
- Collaborate with on-site, regional, and national logistics teams
- Travel between sites to support logistical functions
- Operate material handling equipment and maintain warehouse order
- Ensure safety and compliance with all operational procedures
Requirements
Ideal candidates are organized, safety-conscious logistics professionals with experience in remote supply chain operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Valid driver's license
- TDG certification (air/road/sea)
- Experience with high-volume inventory, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations
- Knowledge of government-furnished equipment and inventory software (e.g., Maximo)
- Familiarity with customs processes is an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work in Arctic conditions
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
- Eligible for Secret security clearance

- Hourly wage: $33.91 to $42.39
- 6x6 rotation (48 hrs/week) with overtime at 1.5x
