SSR Mining Inc., a respected intermediate gold company with operations across the USA, Turkey, Canada, and Argentina, is hiring a Kitchen Staff 3 for its Seabee Gold Operation located about 500km northeast of Saskatoon in Saskatchewan’s boreal forest. This fly-in fly-out role operates on a 2-week on, 2-week off rotation with full camp accommodations provided. The Kitchen Staff 3 plays a key role in maintaining kitchen cleanliness, food preparation, and ensuring health standards are met, contributing to a safe and welcoming camp environment for all workers at the only gold-producing facility in Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities
The Kitchen Staff 3 is responsible for supporting the overall operation, maintenance, and cleanliness of the camp kitchen to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality meal preparation.
- Production of soup, lunch, supper, and sauces
- Take down steam line and properly store leftovers
- Maintain and clean all kitchen equipment
- Ensure general kitchen cleanliness
- Monitor recipes, temperature logs, food expiration dates, and food rotations
- Prepare weekly menu considering special diets and allergies
- Shop for groceries and manage grocery costs
- Attend to dietary needs of staff with special requirements
- Ensure meals and snacks are ready on time
- Liaise with Health Inspector to meet health standards
Requirements
Applicants must possess strong kitchen and food handling skills to succeed in a remote camp environment.
- Minimum 5 years professional kitchen experience
- Grade 12 or equivalent; culinary diploma an asset
- Red Seal certification preferred
- Valid Food Safe Level 1 Certificate and WHMIS
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of food trends, production, sanitation, and safe handling
- Previous fly-in/fly-out camp experience an asset

The Seabee Gold Mine, located northeast of La Ronge, Saskatchewan, is an underground mining operation owned by SSR Mining Inc. Accessible year-round by a 1,275-meter airstrip and via a winter ice road during colder months, the site ensures efficient transportation of personnel, equipment, and supplies. With proven and probable reserves of 343,000 ounces at an average grade of 5.17 grams per tonne, the mine continues to be a significant contributor to the provinces mining sector.
