Jumbo Driller - Seabee Gold Mine - Fly In/Out - Two Week Rotations
SSR Mining Inc. is hiring a Jumbo Driller for its Seabee Gold Operation, located approximately 500km northeast of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This underground gold mining facility offers a fly-in, fly-out work arrangement with camp accommodations. The Jumbo Driller will be responsible for operating 1 and 2 boom Jumbo drills, preparing faces, loading rounds, and following geological ground control. The role requires extensive underground mining experience with a strong focus on drill and blast procedures. The work schedule follows a two-week-on, two-week-off rotation with flights provided from Saskatoon, Prince Albert, or La Ronge.

The Jumbo Driller will be responsible for operating underground mining equipment to achieve production targets. Key responsibilities include:
- Operate 1 and 2 boom Jumbo drills safely and efficiently.
- Prepare faces and load rounds for drilling and blasting.
- Read and interpret mine prints to follow geological ground control.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
- Maintain high productivity while ensuring equipment maintenance and proper use.
- Work collaboratively with the mining team to meet production targets.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Valid Saskatchewan blasting ticket or ability to obtain one.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in underground hard rock mining, preferably in gold mining.
- At least 5 years of experience operating 1 and 2 boom Jumbo drills.
- Expertise in drill and blast procedures.
- Experience on Epiroc MC2 (asset).
- Experience with Epiroc Total Station (asset).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
