SSR Mining Inc. is hiring a Journeyperson Plumber for its Seabee Gold Operation, located approximately 500km northeast of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This underground gold mining site offers a rotational schedule with a fly-in/fly-out arrangement, including pickup points in Saskatoon, Prince Albert, and La Ronge. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing plumbing systems, including potable water and heating units. A valid Red Seal Journeyperson Plumbing Certification and General Gas Ticket Certification are required. Camp accommodations and flights are provided.

Responsibilities
The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for the maintenance and installation of plumbing systems at the Seabee Gold Operation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for plumbing layouts.
- Install, repair, and maintain piping, plumbing, and heating units (propane and oil burning).
- Perform routine facility inspections and preventive/corrective maintenance.
- Maintain the potable water supply system for the camp.
- Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or welding techniques.
- Keep detailed logs of daily maintenance activities.
- Ensure a clean and organized work area.
- Conduct risk evaluations and develop task sequencing for corrective maintenance.
- Promote teamwork and safety awareness in the workplace.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have extensive plumbing experience and the required certifications.
- Valid Red Seal Journeyperson Plumbing Certification.
- General Gas Ticket Certification with no restrictions.
- Minimum of 5 years of plumbing and/or pipefitting experience.
- HRAI Canada's Ozone Layer Protection Awareness certification (asset).
- Potable water treatment training and certification (asset).
- Previous experience working in remote fly-in camp sites.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
