SSR Mining Inc. is hiring a Journeyperson Electrician to join the team at its Seabee Gold Operation, the only gold-producing facility in Saskatchewan. Located approximately 500km northeast of Saskatoon in the boreal forest, this remote camp-based position includes fly-in fly-out transportation with pickup points in Saskatoon, Prince Albert, and La Ronge. The position operates on a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off schedule, providing critical maintenance and support to electrical systems throughout the site.

Responsibilities
The Journeyperson Electrician will provide maintenance and support for electrical systems throughout the Seabee Gold Operation. Key responsibilities include:
- Programming, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment
- Maintaining high voltage systems
- Installing new equipment and performing calibrations
- Conducting preventive maintenance and equipment repairs
- Reading schematics and troubleshooting electrical circuits
- Managing small to mid-size projects on-site
- Ensuring safety and efficiency in all operations
- Documenting and reporting all work performed
Requirements
Candidates should demonstrate strong technical and leadership capabilities. Requirements include:
- Journeyperson certificate in Electrical
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Mining industry and underground experience (preferred)
- Strong mechanical and heavy industry background (asset)
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and safety mindset

The Seabee Gold Mine, located northeast of La Ronge, Saskatchewan, is an underground mining operation owned by SSR Mining Inc. Operating since 1991, it is Saskatchewans only active gold mine, producing high-grade ore processed on-site at the Seabee mill. Accessible year-round by a 1,275-meter airstrip and via a winter ice road during colder months, the site ensures efficient transportation of personnel, equipment, and supplies. With proven and probable reserves of 343,000 ounces at an average grade of 5.17 grams per tonne, the mine continues to be a significant contributor to the provinces mining sector.
