Inventory Analyst - Seabee Gold Mine - Fly In/Out - 4x3 Rotations
SSR Mining Inc. is hiring an Inventory Analyst for its Seabee Gold Operation, located approximately 500km northeast of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This underground gold mining facility offers a fly-in, fly-out work arrangement with camp accommodations. The Inventory Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining inventory management strategies to control costs, optimize stock levels, and ensure material availability for site operations. The role involves analyzing inventory KPIs, managing inventory control measures, and providing data-driven insights to support procurement and supply chain decisions. The work schedule follows a four-day-on, three-day-off rotation with flights provided from Saskatoon, Prince Albert, or La Ronge.

The Inventory Analyst will manage inventory control and data analysis to optimize stock levels. Key responsibilities include:
- Analyze and present data to inform annual supply chain budgeting.
- Monitor inventory KPIs to optimize procurement and warehouse stocking patterns.
- Execute inventory control measures to prevent shortages and overstocking.
- Develop and implement annual cycle count schedules and investigate stock variances.
- Participate in demand planning to ensure accurate stock ordering.
- Identify and resolve non-moving, aged, and obsolete stock issues.
- Generate inventory performance reports and forecast future stock requirements.
- Maintain spare parts based on site consumption and utilization analysis.
- Ensure accurate material master data in the ERP system (SAP) and MIDAS.
- Support inventory data cleansing, eliminating duplicates and updating records.
- Collaborate with SSR Mining sites to refine inventory management best practices.
- Provide training and guidance on inventory control and data management.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Tertiary education in business administration, computer science, or information technology.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in data analysis, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Certification in SAP ERP, data analytics, or inventory management is an asset.
- Proficiency in Power BI, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Extensive experience with SAP ERP system MM and PM modules.
- Strong understanding of MRP and inventory control systems.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize assignments.
