SSR Mining is hiring an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) for its Seabee Gold Operation, a fly-in/fly-out remote gold mine located about 500 kilometers northeast of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Working on a 2-weeks-on, 2-weeks-off rotation with flights provided from Saskatoon, Prince Albert, or La Ronge, the position includes camp accommodations. The role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and overhauling mechanical systems and heavy equipment used in milling operations and underground mining environments.

Responsibilities
The Industrial Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy mechanical and processing equipment across the Seabee operation.
- Move and install machinery using hoists, rollers, and dollies
- Assemble and align mechanical systems including conveyors, shafts, and pulleys
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
- Install and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum systems
- Fabricate or modify parts using lathes, mills, and grinders
- Construct equipment foundations
Requirements
Qualified applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Valid Saskatchewan or Inter-provincial Millwright certification
- 3+ years of relevant mechanical maintenance experience
- Experience in milling operations (required)
- Mining experience (especially gold) is an asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude and system knowledge
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- Effective communication skills
