Housekeeper - Seabee Gold Mine - 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off - FIFO

SSR Mining is hiring a Casual Housekeeper for its Seabee Gold Operation, a remote fly-in/fly-out gold mining site located approximately 500 kilometers northeast of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will work a 2-weeks-on, 2-weeks-off rotation with 11-hour shifts. Camp accommodations are provided, and travel to site is arranged from Saskatoon, Prince Albert, or La Ronge. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the camp's living, dining, and operational facilities.

Responsibilities

The Casual Housekeeper supports the cleanliness and organization of facilities at the Seabee Gold Operation camp.

  • Follow workload and complete tasks on schedule
  • Take down breakfast line and sanitize areas
  • Replenish Front of House supplies
  • Operate dishwasher, vacuum, and laundry equipment
  • Dispose of garbage from rooms and dining areas
  • Serve meals at the hotline
  • Clean and sanitize bedrooms, washrooms, hallways, mine dry, and admin building
  • Perform laundry duties

Requirements

Applicants should meet the following qualifications for success in this role:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Physically capable of repetitive lifting and movement (up to 50lbs)
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Positive safety attitude
  • Experience in remote camp settings is an asset
  • Eligible to step into Camp Worker 2 position when required
