Grinding Operator - Seabee Gold Mine - Fly In/Out - Two Week Rotations
SSR Mining Inc. is hiring a Grinding Operator for its Seabee Gold Operation, located approximately 500km northeast of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This underground gold mining facility offers a fly-in, fly-out work arrangement with camp accommodations. The Grinding Operator is responsible for running the grinding circuit from the fine ore bin to the thickener, ensuring proper ore reduction for leaching. Responsibilities include monitoring circuit operations, adding reagents, performing inspections, and assisting with maintenance. The work schedule follows a two-week-on, two-week-off rotation with flights provided from Saskatoon, Prince Albert, or La Ronge.

The Grinding Operator is responsible for maintaining and operating the grinding circuit. Key responsibilities include:
- Perform daily inspections of the grinding circuit.
- Ensure grinding operations remain within specified limits.
- Add reagents and grinding media in required quantities.
- Inspect equipment and report deficiencies to supervisors.
- Assist the maintenance department with circuit repairs.
- Prepare daily shift reports, recording equipment failures and readings.
- Maintain logs of daily shift events.
- Perform minor maintenance on grinding circuits.
- Cover absences of Solutions Operators as required.
- Operate small motorized equipment when needed.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety and operational protocols.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Completed Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the mining industry.
- Strong communication skills.
- Positive and proactive attitude toward safety.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Experience in grinding circuit operations is an asset.
