SSR Mining is actively hiring a Grader Operator to join the Seabee Gold Operation located in the boreal forest of northern Saskatchewan, approximately 500km northeast of Saskatoon. This camp-based, fly-in/fly-out position operates on a 2-week rotation and supports safe underground travel through effective road maintenance. As part of Saskatchewan's only gold-producing facility, the successful candidate will join a safety-first culture within a diverse, collaborative workforce. While flights from Saskatoon, Prince Albert, and La Ronge are included, candidates must cover their own travel to pickup points. Responsibilities
The Grader Operator ensures safe underground travel by maintaining mine roadways and supporting mine operations with additional equipment use.
- Operate graders, integrated tool carriers, underground trucks, and light vehicles
- Perform road maintenance, including chambers and drainage
- Clean and perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Communicate clearly using two-way radios
Requirements
Applicants should have experience operating heavy equipment underground with strong safety awareness and teamwork skills.
- Grade 12 or equivalent education
- Previous experience as a Grader Operator, preferably in underground mining
- Familiarity with mining operations and road maintenance techniques
- Ability to work safely and responsibly in remote environments
- Strong work ethic and team orientation

The Seabee Gold Mine, located northeast of La Ronge, Saskatchewan, is an underground mining operation owned by SSR Mining Inc. Operating since 1991, it is Saskatchewans only active gold mine, producing high-grade ore processed on-site at the Seabee mill. Accessible year-round by a 1,275-meter airstrip and via a winter ice road during colder months, the site ensures efficient transportation of personnel, equipment, and supplies. With proven and probable reserves of 343,000 ounces at an average grade of 5.17 grams per tonne, the mine continues to be a significant contributor to the provinces mining sector.
