Responsibilities
As a General Services Labourer, you will support the safe, clean, and efficient functioning of the mining facilities at Nemaska Lithium's Whabouchi Mine.
- Safely transport workers between facilities such as camp and airport.
- Perform general maintenance including snow removal and minor manual tasks.
- Assist with construction and maintenance site upkeep.
- Load and unload materials and supplies.
- Handle and move products using equipment such as hand trucks, pallet trucks, or forklifts.
- Provide logistical support for events and special operations.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Inspect and perform basic checks on the bus before each trip.
- Work as a reliable, adaptable team member in dynamic conditions.
Requirements
The following qualifications and attributes are required or considered assets for this role:
- Valid Class 2 driver's license for bus operation.
- ASP Construction card (asset).
- Experience as a bus driver, preferably in remote or rugged terrain.
- Prior experience as a labourer or in similar roles (asset).
- Strong team spirit, independence, and attention to detail.
- Good physical condition and resourcefulness.
- Willingness to complete safety training (WHMIS, first aid, etc.).
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 14/14 FIFO rotation.
