Responsibilities

As a General Services Labourer, you will support the safe, clean, and efficient functioning of the mining facilities at Nemaska Lithium's Whabouchi Mine.

  • Safely transport workers between facilities such as camp and airport.
  • Perform general maintenance including snow removal and minor manual tasks.
  • Assist with construction and maintenance site upkeep.
  • Load and unload materials and supplies.
  • Handle and move products using equipment such as hand trucks, pallet trucks, or forklifts.
  • Provide logistical support for events and special operations.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Inspect and perform basic checks on the bus before each trip.
  • Work as a reliable, adaptable team member in dynamic conditions.

Requirements

The following qualifications and attributes are required or considered assets for this role:

  • Valid Class 2 driver's license for bus operation.
  • ASP Construction card (asset).
  • Experience as a bus driver, preferably in remote or rugged terrain.
  • Prior experience as a labourer or in similar roles (asset).
  • Strong team spirit, independence, and attention to detail.
  • Good physical condition and resourcefulness.
  • Willingness to complete safety training (WHMIS, first aid, etc.).
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 14/14 FIFO rotation.
  • Experience in multicultural work environments is an asset.
