Responsibilities
The Labourer, Site Services will perform various manual labor tasks to support site operations at the Seabee Gold Operation.
- Remove and dispose of trash at waste management facilities.
- Unload incoming freight, including supplies and equipment from planes.
- Conduct daily surface pump checks.
- Insulate and maintain tailings and reclaim lines.
- Complete assigned projects within designated timelines.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform all duties safely and efficiently.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have physical endurance, the ability to follow instructions, and experience in labor-intensive tasks.
- Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a remote fly-in camp environment (preferred).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in using electric and air power tools.
- Ability to work in extreme cold or heat.
- Understanding of safety guidelines and hazard awareness.
- Knowledge of MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets).
