Camp Worker 1 - Seabee Gold Mine - 2x2 Weeks - FIFO
SSR Mining Inc. is hiring Camp Worker 1 for the Seabee Gold Operation, a remote gold mining camp located approximately 500 kilometres northeast of Saskatoon in northern Saskatchewan. This fly-in/fly-out position follows a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation with 11-hour workdays and supports housekeeping, kitchen, laundry, janitorial, and food service operations throughout the camp. The Camp Worker helps maintain company hygiene and sanitation standards, including Saskatchewan HACCP requirements, by cleaning accommodations and operational buildings, operating laundry and dishwashing equipment, serving meals, replenishing front-of-house areas, and completing assigned camp support duties. Flights are provided on designated travel days from Saskatoon, Prince Albert, or La Ronge.

Responsibilities
The Camp Worker supports accommodation, food service, housekeeping, laundry, and janitorial operations at the Seabee Gold Operation while maintaining required hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Follow assigned workloads and complete camp service tasks within the allotted time.
- Operate vacuums and other cleaning equipment used throughout the remote mining camp.
- Operate laundry equipment and complete laundry duties as required.
- Empty garbage from dining areas, bedrooms, and other assigned locations.
- Assist with taking down and cleaning the breakfast service line.
- Clean and sanitize employee work areas and customer service areas.
- Replenish front-of-house supplies and service areas.
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Serve meals from the hot food service line.
- Follow weekly room cleaning and sanitation protocols and complete housekeeping duties.
- Clean and sanitize washrooms, toilets, hallways, and common areas.
- Follow cleaning and sanitation procedures for mill and mine dry change rooms.
- Clean and sanitize the Administration building and other assigned facilities.
- Work with housekeeping, kitchen, and janitorial teams to maintain company hygiene standards.
- Follow Saskatchewan HACCP health and food safety requirements.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Camp Operations department.
Requirements
Candidates for this entry-level fly-in/fly-out camp position must be dependable, safety-focused, physically capable, and able to work independently or as part of a remote camp services team.
- Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Entry-level candidates are eligible, with the ability to step into the Camp Worker 2 position when required.
- Previous experience at a remote fly-in/fly-out camp is considered an asset.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
- Positive and proactive approach to workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to follow an assigned workload and complete duties within established timelines.
- Physical ability to perform repetitive bending, pulling, carrying, lifting, and heavy pushing.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work 11-hour days in a remote northern Saskatchewan camp environment.
- Availability for occasional unscheduled overtime.
