SSR Mining Inc. is hiring a Camp Operations Supervisor for its Seabee Gold Operation, located approximately 500km northeast of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This remote gold mining site operates on a fly-in/fly-out schedule with pickup points in Saskatoon, Prince Albert, and La Ronge. The successful candidate will oversee custodial services, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and resident satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing personnel, budgeting, training programs, and maintaining custodial equipment and inventory. Camp accommodations and flights are provided for this rotational role.

Responsibilities

The Camp Operations Supervisor will oversee custodial services, ensuring quality housekeeping and janitorial operations at the Seabee Gold Operation.

  • Lead and mentor custodial services employees.
  • Plan and assign daily workloads with clear targets.
  • Monitor safety performance and conduct daily field leadership.
  • Oversee housekeeping and janitorial service delivery.
  • Maintain inventory control and ensure proper use of custodial supplies.
  • Submit maintenance requests using the SAP system.
  • Monitor expenditures and ensure budget compliance.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and support of custodial equipment.
  • Implement training programs for new employees.
  • Conduct daily audits of all custodial areas to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience in custodial operations in a remote camp or hospitality setting.

  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in Camp Housekeeping/Janitorial Management.
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience.
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • Valid Food Safe Level I Certificate and WHMIS Certificate (asset).
  • Experience working in a remote camp environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate, mentor, and develop employees.
