SSR Mining Inc. is seeking Breakfast Cooks (Temporary Kitchen Staff 3) to join the team at Seabee Gold Operation, the only gold-producing facility in Saskatchewan. Located approximately 500km northeast of Saskatoon in the boreal forest, this remote site position includes camp accommodations and fly-in fly-out travel with pickups from Saskatoon, Prince Albert, and La Ronge. Working on a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation, the Breakfast Cook will support daily kitchen operations, food preparation, and cleanliness while ensuring compliance with food safety and dietary standards.

Responsibilities
The Breakfast Cook (Night Shift) will ensure meal production and kitchen operations run smoothly in a remote camp setting. Responsibilities include:
- Prepare soup, lunch, supper, sauces, and take down steam line
- Prepare breakfast meal options
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and utensils
- Manage proper storage, food rotation, and temperature logs
- Shop for groceries and manage food cost efficiency
- Create weekly menus with consideration for allergies and special diets
- Ensure meals and snacks are ready on schedule
- Comply with health standards and liaise with health inspectors
- Support overall operation and cleanliness of the camp kitchen
Requirements
Candidates must have professional kitchen experience and strong organizational skills. Requirements include:
- Minimum 5 years of professional kitchen experience
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Food Safe Level 1 and WHMIS certificates (current)
- Red Seal certification preferred
- Diploma from a culinary school considered an asset
- Line or banquet cooking experience (asset)
- Previous experience in remote camp settings (asset)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work 11-hour shifts
