Bolter - Seabee Gold Mine - 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off - FIFO
SSR Mining is hiring a Bolter for its Seabee Gold Operation, a remote underground gold mine located approximately 500 kilometers northeast of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This is a fly-in/fly-out camp position with a 2-weeks-on, 2-weeks-off rotation, working 12-hour shifts. Flights are provided from Saskatoon, Prince Albert, or La Ronge. The Bolter will operate underground equipment and install various ground support systems to stabilize rock mass in accordance with safety procedures and mine regulations.

Responsibilities
The Bolter is responsible for the safe installation of underground ground support systems using conventional and mechanized equipment.
- Inspect and scale underground headings
- Install ground support using jackleg, stoper, or bolting machines
- Operate Epiroc, Sandvik, and Boltec bolters
- Install cable bolts, vent tubing, fan systems, and piping
- Apply dry shotcrete (asset)
- Participate in blasting if certified
- Attend daily safety meetings and follow shift instructions
Requirements
Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:
- 2-3 years of underground hard rock experience with jackleg/stoper and scissor lifts
- Familiarity with mechanized bolters (Boltec M, Boltec S, Sandvik models)
- Ability to work independently and follow procedures
- Strong safety focus and communication skills
- Experience with blasting, cable bolting, and shotcrete application considered an asset
