BHP Jansen Potash Project
The BHP Jansen Potash Project is a potash mining project in located in Saskatchewan. BHP, a major mining company, is leading the effort to extract potash, an important fertilizer ingredient, from underground. It’s a significant investment and one of the largest potash mines in the world. The project involves drilling, digging, and building infrastructure to reach the potash deposits deep underground. It will create jobs, boost the local economy, and help meet the global demand for fertilizer.

Wicehtowak Frontec Services (WFS) is providing the workforce for the Jansen Discovery Lodge. And Wicehtowak Frontec Services is a partnership between George Gordon Developments Ltd. (GGDL) and ATCO Frontec Ltd. This company is primarily owned by Indigenous groups and specializes in offering camp and support services for remote workforce housing projects.
