Seabee Gold Mine
Located approximately 125 kilometers northeast of La Ronge, Saskatchewan, Seabee Gold Mine is owned by SSR Mining Inc. and has been in continuous operation since 1991. The mine consists of the Santoy underground mine and the Seabee mill facility, which processes ore to produce gold dor� bars.
Access to the site is primarily by fixed-wing aircraft, with heavy equipment and bulk supplies transported via a winter ice road from January to March.
As a Rock Truck Operator, you will report to the Supervisor of Mine Operations and be responsible for transporting ore and waste rock. Additional duties related to production and development may be required.
- Operate 30- and 40-ton trucks
- Operate 2, 4, 6, 8-yard scoops
- Knowledge of scaling procedures
- Familiarity with underground emergency procedures
- Perform various duties related to production and development
Requirements for Truck Operators include,
- Minimum two years' experience in a hard rock underground mining operation
- Experience with mine haulage trucks preferred
- Experience with manual and remote scoop tram operation is an asset
- Previous mine rescue training is considered an asset
