Seabee Gold Mine

SSR Mining Inc. is a Canadian-based precious metals producer with a diversified portfolio of high-quality assets located in the USA, T�rkiye, Canada, and Argentina. One of its key operations is the Seabee Gold Operation in Northern Saskatchewan, approximately 125 kilometers northeast of La Ronge.

As Canada's premier underground gold mining operation, Seabee has been producing high-quality gold since 1991. Acquired from Claude Resources Inc. in 2016, SSR Mining continues to explore and expand its mineral resources to optimize production processes. In 2022, SSR Mining expanded its exploration platform by acquiring Taiga Gold, adding five new properties to its Saskatchewan portfolio.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Site Services, the Labourer will perform manual labor activities around the mine site, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

  • Remove trash and deposit it at waste management facilities
  • Unload planes and other incoming freight
  • Perform daily surface pump checks
  • Insulate and maintain tailings and reclaim lines
  • Complete projects within allotted periods
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area
  • Ensure all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform other duties as required

Knowledge and skills required include,

  • Ability to understand spoken and written instructions
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to use electric and air power tools
  • Ability to work closely with others
  • Mental awareness to work around potential hazards
  • Ability to work in conditions of extreme cold or heat
  • Knowledge of using MSDS information sheets

Education and experience required include,

  • Completed Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Previous related experience, preferably in a remote fly-in campsite
  • Must pass drug and alcohol substance testing (including marijuana)
  • Ability to work in remote locations and various weather conditions
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to policies and regulations
