The position offers a two-week rotation, safe work conditions, and the opportunity to engage in various manual labor activities in one of Canada's leading gold mining operations.

SSR Mining's Seabee Gold Operation is currently hiring temporary Labourers for their Site Services. This role involves completing manual labor activities around the mining site in a safe and efficient manner. Two-week rotation with flights and camp accommodations provided, working in one of Canada's premier underground gold mining operations.

  • Two week on/two week off work rotations

Temporary Labourers - Site Services

Responsibilities for the labourers at the Seabee Gold Mine include,

  • Remove trash and deposit at waste management facilities
  • Unload planes and other incoming freight
  • Perform daily surface pump checks
  • Insulate and maintain tailings and reclaim lines
  • Complete projects within the allotted period
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area
  • Ensure all work is done in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform other duties as required

Knowledge and skills required include,

  • Ability to understand spoken and written instructions
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Proficiency in using electric and air power tools
  • Ability to work closely with others
  • Mental awareness to work around potential hazards
  • Ability to work in extreme cold or heat conditions
  • Knowledge of using MSDS information sheets

Education and experience required include,

  • Completed Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Previous related experience, preferably in a remote fly-in campsite
