The C�t� Gold Project is located near Gogama in northern Ontario, Canada. It is a collaborative effort between IAMGOLD and Sumitomo Metal Mining Co. Ltd. Set to produce over 6 million ounces of gold throughout its 18-year mine life, this large-scale open-pit gold mining project is a cornerstone of the Canadian mining industry.
The mine construction began in September 2020, and the project aims to create more than 1,000 mining and construction jobs in Ontario.
