Basin Coal Mine
Contribute to the ongoing efforts at Basin Mine, a coal mining project located in British Columbia.

Basin Coal Mine supports coal production in British Columbia.
The Basin Coal Mine is situated in the Tulameen coalfield, approximately 9 kilometers west of Coalmont and 24 kilometers from Princeton in south-central British Columbia. Historically, various mining operations produced a total of 2,314,970 tonnes of coal from the deposit between 1912 and 1957. In 2003, a joint venture extracted 20,000 tonnes of clean thermal coal, and in 2004, production more than doubled to about 40,000 tonnes. The mine's operations have been intermittent, reflecting the fluctuating demand and economic viability of coal mining in the region.
