About Meg Energy Christina Lake Project
Meg Energy’s Christina Lake Project is a significant multi-phased undertaking located in the southern Athabasca region of northeast Alberta, around 150 kilometers south of Fort McMurray. Spanning approximately 200 square kilometers of leases, this SAGD operation holds regulatory approvals to produce about 210,000 barrels per day (bpd).
Since its inception in 2008 with Phase 1 producing at a design capacity of 3,000 bpd, the project has grown and evolved, showcasing Meg Energy’s dedication to sustainable growth and innovation in the oil and gas industry.
