Responsibilities

The Utility Truck Operator will ensure the safe operation and maintenance of utility vehicles supporting site operations:

  • Operate utility trucks, water trucks, service trucks, and light vehicles
  • Deliver fresh water to treatment plants, buildings, and underground access points
  • Control dust on roads and airstrip to support safety
  • Perform septic tank pumping, cleaning, and maintenance
  • Assist with loading/unloading materials as needed
  • Empty and clean waste containers, ensuring site cleanliness
  • Conduct daily inspections and basic maintenance of utility vehicles
  • Maintain accurate logs for fuel usage, hours, and tasks completed

Requirements

Candidates should meet the following qualifications to succeed in this remote operations role:

  • At least 1 year of experience operating utility or heavy vehicles in an industrial environment
  • Mining experience preferred
  • Completion of primary school required; high school diploma preferred
  • Class 3 driver's license with airbrake endorsement preferred
  • Ability to work in extreme climates (from -70�C to +30�C)
