Responsibilities
As an Underground Development Miner IV, you will support underground operations through equipment handling and construction duties to maintain and advance mining infrastructure.
- Operate underground equipment including LHDs, haul trucks, jacklegs, and platforms
- Install ground support as a bolting off-sider
- Advance underground services including water, air, and ventilation
- Perform safety inspections and report deficiencies
- Construct and repair underground infrastructure including bulkheads, doors, and platforms
- Attend safety toolbox meetings and comply with company safety protocols
- Carry out general mine labour duties as directed
Requirements
Candidates must have prior experience and basic certifications suitable for a remote underground mining environment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in underground mining or mining construction
- Experience in remote or resource-limited mining sites preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Completion of secondary school is considered an asset

Goose Project
The Goose Gold Project is a high-grade gold mine development in Nunavut’s Back River District, currently under construction by B2Gold Corporation.
