Truck Operator - Mining Construction Ontario - 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off - FIFO
Thyssen Mining Construction of Canada is currently hiring Nippers, Boom Truck Operators, and Lube Truck Operators for its underground mine construction project in Northwest Ontario. These fly-in/fly-out roles follow a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation and include full camp accommodations. Responsibilities
Operators and support personnel will be responsible for assisting underground mining operations through material handling, equipment servicing, and safe equipment operation.
- Operate boom and lube trucks safely in an underground environment
- Assist with supply deliveries and materials movement (Nipper duties)
- Maintain and refuel mobile equipment
- Perform routine inspections and safety checks
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Previous underground mining experience
- Ontario Common Core considered an asset
- Physically fit for demanding underground tasks
- Flexible availability
- Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
