Responsibilities

The Skilled Labourer will support key operational and maintenance tasks at the Goose Project site:

  • Assist with ground crew duties for all inbound and outbound flights
  • Carry out general camp maintenance including carpentry and repairs
  • Load, unload, and distribute construction materials and tools
  • Prepare and clean worksites to eliminate safety hazards
  • Safely stack salvaged materials and clean chemical spills in accordance with protocols
  • Perform snow removal and pathway sanding during winter months
  • Fuel and service stationary and mobile equipment, including gensets

Requirements

Candidates should meet the following qualifications for this remote Skilled Labourer role:

  • 3-5 years of general labour experience, ideally in mining or remote sites
  • High school diploma or GED
  • General carpentry skills considered an asset
  • Training or coursework in trades or heavy industry is an advantage
  • Functional English proficiency for safe communication onsite
